Bladderwrack c/s

Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculos), is primarily used due to its high source of iodine.  Traditionally used to treat underactive and oversized thyroid and to treat iodine deficiency.  Bladderwrack is also rich in calcium, magnesium, and potassium.  Bladderwrack contains numerous phytonutrients which are credited with many health benefits.  Bladderwrack is known to lower lipid and cholesterol levels and support weight loss. Bladderwrack has also shown anticandidal, antibacterial, and antitumor properties. Other benefits include promotes healthy digestion, aids in weight loss via increased metabolism, reduces risk of coronary disease and slows signs of aging.

Bladderwrack is high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and health-promoting plant compounds known as phytochemicals. It is rich in iodine, which supports thyroid health by producing the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4), and helps regulate metabolism and support proper growth and neurological development. It also contains phytochemicals such as phlorotannins and fucoxanthin, which may help lower oxidative stress — an imbalance between free radical and antioxidant levels in your body.
